Funimation has announced that The Promised Neverland Season 2 English dub is now available via the Funimation streaming app thanks to their partnering with Aniplex of America and Ban Zoom! Entertainment.
Funimation also announced that the English voice cast of the series has returned for Season 2, including Erica Mendez (Sailor Moon) as Emma, Jeannie Tirado (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) as Norman and Laura Stahl (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun) as Ray.
Beginning today, August 20th, 20221, all 11 episodes of the second season are available in English dub via Funimation's streaming app.
The Promised Neverland anime series is based upon the Japanese manga series of the same name. The manga was written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in August of 2016, with its chapters collected into twenty tankobon volumes. The anime series first 12-episode season premiered in January of 2019. A live-action film adaptation was released in December of 2020.
The series follows Emma, an 11 year old orphan, and her friends in their plan to escape from the Grace Field House orphanage after learning the dark truth behind the children's existence and the purpose of the Grace Field House orphanage.
