We have even more news about the upcoming anime-inspired video game! SEGA announced Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! earlier this week. Along with the announcement they revealed some of the game features, including 4-player multiplayer action, locally or online, with moment-to-moment gameplay replicating a board game where players aim to become the best slayer. Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! will launch in 2024 for Nintendo Switch.

Characters
Players will be able to choose iconic characters from the anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, such as Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira as well as the nine Hashiras. In addition, in-game boards will be themed around memorable locations from the anime such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. Nezuko Kamado will also frequently appear in-game as a support character.
Features
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! will feature a variety of minigames for players to take on as they explore the game board. As the time of day in-game changes from day to night, new events will unfold across the board as players will be able to meet familiar faces and work together to take down dangerous demons lurking in the night.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime and manga series set in Taisho-era Japan, following Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted boy whose life takes a tragic turn when demons slaughter his family, leaving his sister Nezuko as the sole survivor.
