Crunchyroll announced through a press release an incredible line-up of Japanese musical performances for the 2023 Anime Awards. Viewers tuning in will catch live performances of some of the best music from JUJUTSU KAISEN, Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan.
On February 23, 2023 in California's Culver City, The group ALI, who base their sound on roots music with a crossover of Hip Hop, Rock, and Ska, performed the ending theme song LOST IN PARADISE feat. Crunchyroll has announced a schedule of musical performances to honor previous Anime Awards winners. Ashes on The Fire, a song from the epic action-adventure anime Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1, and a song from the action-fantasy Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc will be performed by actors AKLO from the dark fantasy series JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 1 and composer KOHTA YAMAMOTO.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards are the premier annual awards show that recognizes the creators, musicians, and performances from streaming and live-action anime. Crunchyroll will partner with Sony Music Solutions, a division of Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. to stream the event to a global audience.
Several of the performers had statements about the announcement they would be performing at the awards:
“I am very honored to have the opportunity to perform "Ashes on The Fire" from the TV anime “Attack on Titan The Final Season” at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023. The first half of “Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3” is set to premiere just before the awards. The Anime Awards will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2023, with a live ceremony hosted by renowned voice actress Sally Amaki and popular entertainer Jon Kabira. Fans can watch the Anime Awards livestream on the Crunchyroll channels on YouTube and Twitch beginning at 6:30 PM JST.
