Crunchyroll is coming out hot for the upcoming cold season by releasing some of the upcoming Winter 2024 animes, and we have a new one for you to check out! The anime adaptation of Tales of Wedding Rings, which is based on the manga by MAYBE, will debut on Crunchyroll starting this January! Sato is a high school boy in love with his best friend Hime, an unearthly beauty from another realm. So when she moves back to her home world to get married, Sato doesn’t think twice—he follows her and crashes the wedding. Then, after a kiss from Hime, he suddenly becomes the new groom! But here, Hime is a Ring Princess and her husband is destined to be the Ring King: a hero of immense power.
In March 2014, MAYBE's manga, which was written and drawn, started to appear serially in Monthly Big Gangan in Japan. Up till now, 13 volumes have been published, the English translation is published by Yen Press. Saori Nakashiki is in charge of character designs, while Deko Akao writes the screenplay for the Staple Entertainment series that Takashi Naoya will direct.
Although we don't have an official release date for the Tales of Wedding Rings anime adaptation, we will keep you updated as the date is nailed down. But plan for this January as we previously mentioned! The series will premiere to everyone on Crunchyroll's streaming services in the following regions: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
