The Golden Kamuy anime will eventually reach its glorious conclusion after all the detours, turns, and hiccups along the way. After tonight's airing of the Season 4 finale in Japan, it was revealed that a new sequel, which will adapt the "final arc/chapter" of the popular action-comedy manga by Satoru Noda, is in the works!
The official Twitter account for the series also published a visual. The new anime's release date and other specifics are still to be announced.

Shizutaka Sugahara (Grimms Notes the Animation) is replacing Hitoshi Nanba at Geno Studio as the chief director of Golden Kamuy at studio Brain's Base, based on the manga by Satoru Noda. While Takumi Yamakawa, who directed the animation on 5 episodes of To Your Eternity, takes over as character designer, Noboru Takagi continues to write the series' composition.
