It's official! As of yesterday, the 144th and last chapter of the romantic comedy manga Girlfriend, Girlfriend by Hiroyuki (AHO-GIRL) was published as part of the 25th issue of 2023 in Weekly Shonen Magazine!
Check out the official Twitter announcement for the manga below:
The manga was first published in serial form in the magazine in the year 2020. There have been a total of 15 tankobon volumes made available in Japan up to this point, and there are more than 1.9 million copies in circulation. While maintaining the comic tone of its predecessor, AHO-GIRL, this sequel takes a more serious approach to depicting the peculiar love quadrangle connection that exists between the protagonist hero and the four heroines. The protagonist of the manga ultimately reaches a decision on his relationship with the four female characters in the concluding chapter of the story.
On July 14, the sixteenth and final volume will be made available for purchase in Japan. Its special edition will have all of the supplementary features for the previous volumes, in addition to several artwork supplied by well-known manga artists.

But then, a beautiful girl named Nagisa comes up to Naoya one day and tells him that she wants to go out with him. Naoya feels himself wavering because Nagisa is such a good girl, and he comes to a decision! A new kind of romcom from a rather unexpected decision is about to begin!
