The geniuses at Aniplex are best known for their work on Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Sword Art Online, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. Wit Studio, meanwhile, is recognized for shows like Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga.
Both studios are known for their respective projects and now they are combining their talents to make an anime love-child titled Ranking of Kings. A touching story that follows a young boy named Bojji meant to be a king who is both deaf and mute and to make matters worse, he can't even wield a sword.
After meeting and befriending a shadow creature named Kage, the two embark on a journey filled with adventure, with Bojji's first real friend showing him where his true strength lies. Check out the poster image below for a taste of what to expect in the new animation.
Ranking of Kings will be premiering its first episode tomorrow on Funimation, joining the bursting 2021 Fall Line-Up. We've included both of the trailers and synopses leading to this point so that interested viewers can have full context ahead of tomorrow's launch.
