Another exciting manga series update! Seven Seas Entertainment announced through a press release that their license for the manga series I Married My Female Friend, written by Shio Usui, has been officially acquired by the company. In this scrumptious slice-of-life yuri story from the author of Doughnuts, the two main characters are a boy and a girl. Two ladies, who had previously been friends, decide to take their relationship to the next level by making a marriage covenant while standing beneath a crescent moon.
Seven Seas Entertainment describe's the story of I Married My Female Friend:
Kurumi and Ruriko made a deal: if they were both single in five years, they would marry each other. Five years later, neither woman is attached, so it’s time for a wedding! Marriage is full of firsts, especially for two friends, so they have a lot to learn about each other in their newly shared home. But will they continue this arrangement like two especially close roommates...or will a different kind of love bloom between them?
I Married My Female Friend Vol. 1 will be made available in print and on digital platforms in single large-trim editions as part of the Seven Seas GL label (Girls' Love titles) in December 2023, when it will be released for the very first time in North America at a price of $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN. The release date is set for December 2023.
