The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power manga has a last book coming. Artist Yona Etou posted Friday that the next compiled volume ends the adaptation. Earth Star Entertainment shipped Japanese volume 9 on September 11. Volume 10 is the finish line. J-Novel Club put English volume 7 up digitally on August 12. Readers on that side of the translation are still two to three books behind the ending Etou just called.
The novels are already finished. Almond posted the story on Shosetsuka ni Naro, then took it down in May 2022 after the print deal. Earth Star ran four volumes under Earth Star Luna with Yoshiro Ambe illustrations from June 2021 through June 2023. That fourth book is the last prose volume. J-Novel Club already published the complete English novel set. The manga on Comic Earth Star, live since April 28, 2022, is the format that outlasted both the web original and the tankobon novels.
The TV cour just closed too. Magic Bus and Picante Circus adapted the books with director Mitsutaka Noshitani and series scripts by Touko Machida. Music is by Supa Love. It opened June 30 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, and Gunma TV. Episode 12, "Executing the Revenge," arrived on September 15. Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired. Twelve episodes. No second cour was attached to Etou's post.
J-Novel Club explains the story as: Lady Carolina is the overlooked daughter of a powerful duke. Father is prime minister. Elder sister is the prodigy mage lined up as the nation's next Saint. Carolina treats herself as the spare until a royal decree marries her to the Bloodthirsty Prince of the neighboring Empire of Malcosias. The longer Japanese title does the rest of the work: disgraced no longer, finding happiness with the prince. The unconscious-saint hook is that the power leak she cannot see is the thing other people keep tripping over.
Almond's web version ran from 2020 to 2023 and picked up an encouragement award at the 2nd Earth Star Novel Award in 2020. That prize is why a four-volume print run and a shojo-leaning Comic Earth Star manga existed before the anime committee formed. Theme songs on the TV side were Kaya's "Windmaker" for the opening and Utahime Dream All Stars' "Unknown Me" for the ending. Those credits do not change because the manga is stopping.
Etou drawing ten volumes on a four-volume novel is normal for this lane. Monthly pages stretch court scenes, café beats, and the sister rivalry past what a short light-novel set can hold. Volume 9 arriving two days before the artist's end notice is the publisher clearing the penultimate stack so volume 10 can close the spine. French and other European editions have been trailing Japan on their own clocks. English print will follow J-Novel Club's digital queue.
What the Friday post does not do is announce more novels, a sequel arc, or another TV season. The anime used the summer 2026 slot and ended on schedule. The source books have been frozen since June 2023. Comic Earth Star is the last moving piece, and Etou just timed its stop.
If you only watch Crunchyroll, episode 12 is already the broadcast ending. If you only read English manga, you still have volumes 8 through 10 to wait on. If you finished the four novels years ago, the last tankobon is extra art on a plot you already know. That split is why end notices like this matter. The same title is in three different places on the calendar.
