Funimation has announced that it will begin streaming the first English dubbed episodes of Akebi's Sailor Uniform tomorrow, January 28th!
The anime adaptation is based upon Hiro's manga of the same name. It is directed by Miyui Kuroki and animated at studio CloverWorks. Rino Yamazaki has provided the scripts and character designs are by Megumi Kouno.
The English voice cast includes Megan Shipman as Komichi Akebi, Tia Ballard as her sister Kao, Erica Schroeder as their mother Yuwa, and Greg Dulcie as Taira. The school principle will be voiced by Pam Dougherty. Komichi's teacher Ms. Tamura will be voiced by Kristen McGuire, and her first friend Erika will be voiced by Suzie Yeung.
