Grand Blue Dreaming is not done drinking. The official site announced a fourth season on Tuesday, hours after season 3's 12th and final episode hit Tokyo MX and BS11. A new visual went up with it. Season 3 started July 6 and lived in Palau, the first time the show left Japan. Iori and the Peek a Boo circus spent a dozen episodes on a cousin's new dive shop, clear water, mixer disasters, and the usual rule that somebody ends up naked before the credits.
The finale put the romance pressure back on Iori Kitahara. The season 4 key art leans into that. Chisa Kotegawa, Aina Yoshiwara, and Sakurako Busujima share the frame in swimsuits. A photo of Iori sits under a knife. Japanese coverage read it as the love fight heating up. That is all the staff printed.
Shinji Takamatsu directed season 3 at Zero-G and Saber Works, and he wrote and handled sound the same way he did on the revival. He is also the Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto guy, which tells you why the timing and the drunk blocking still land. Season 4 has not published a full staff list yet. Expect the same voices until someone says otherwise. Yuma Uchida is Iori. Ryohei Kimura is Kohei Imamura. Chika Anzai is Chisa. Maaya Uchida is Nanaka Kotegawa. Hiroki Yasumoto and Katsuyuki Konishi are still Tokita and Kotobuki. Kana Asumi and Aya Yamane cover Aina and Sakurako.
This is the same cadence the reboot has used for two summers. Season 2 wrapped its 12th episode in September 2025 and immediately announced season 3. Season 3 wrapped and immediately announced season 4. The seven-year gap after 2018 is the old story. The new story is yearly 12-episode batches.
Season 2 also leaked in full online in July 2025. The last file in that dump already listed a third season, which the official account then confirmed in September. Nobody needed a leak this time. The site just posted the poster.
Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka have been running the manga in Kodansha's good! Afternoon since April 2014. Yoshioka draws the bodies and the ocean. Circulation is over 11 million copies. Anitrendz had the book at 26 volumes as of April 2026. Kodansha USA puts the series out digitally in English. Crunchyroll used to drop chapters as they landed in Japan and is streaming the current anime. Kodansha USA's blurb still sells the show in one breath: Iori moves to a seaside town, dives with beautiful girls, and suffers a gaggle of lovable bastards in a college tale built on booze.
Season 1 premiered in July 2018. Amazon Prime Video had the worldwide stream then. A live-action film opened in Japan in August 2020 with Ryo Ryusei and Atsuhiro Inukai. The TV show went quiet until summer 2025, then stacked two more seasons in 13 months. Palau was the flex that the budget and the schedule could leave Izu.
Crunchyroll's season 3 overview sent Iori overseas because his cousin needed help opening a shop. Crystal water, same club, same inability to keep clothes on. Season 4's poster says the next fight is not a passport run. It is who gets the idiot in the photo.
