Curious about Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop series? Well, you won't have to wait long to see the first images and/or footage. Netflix announced earlier this morning that a special online event dubbed #GeekedWeek will kickoff on June 7 and will contain fresh looks at a number of exciting shows.
Netflix originals listed to be featured during #GeekedWeek include the new He-Man anime, Masters of the Universe: Retaliation, the Resident Evil cg anime, The Witcher season 2, the live-action Cowboy Bebop series and more. Anime fans are particularly interested in the latter which features:
- John Cho (Sulu/Star Trek) as Spike Spiegel
- Mustafa Shakir (Bushmaster/Luke Cage) as Jet Black
- Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez/Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) as Faye Valentine
- Alex Hassell (Translucent/The Boys) as Vicious
- Elena Satine (Louise Ellis/Revenge) as Julia
The zombie hand next to the movies tag also has fans speculating that we'll also get a look at the Army of the Dead anime prequel.
The team behind Netflix's Castlevania anime is also confirmed to participate during the event do there's also a chance that the first details regarding the spinoff continuation could be revealed.
Netflix's #GeekedWeek runs from Jun7-11.
