Netflix's Live-Action COWBOY BEBOP To Be Featured During "Geeked Week"

Netflix is unleashing a special #GeekedWeek online fan event in June that will provide new and first looks at a number of highly anticipated shows including the live-action Cowboy Bebop series.

Curious about Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop series? Well, you won't have to wait long to see the first images and/or footage. Netflix announced earlier this morning that a special online event dubbed #GeekedWeek will kickoff on June 7 and will contain fresh looks at a number of exciting shows.

Netflix originals listed to be featured during #GeekedWeek include the new He-Man anime, Masters of the Universe: Retaliation, the Resident Evil cg anime, The Witcher season 2, the live-action Cowboy Bebop series and more. Anime fans are particularly interested in the latter which features:

  • John Cho (Sulu/Star Trek) as  Spike Spiegel
  • Mustafa Shakir (Bushmaster/Luke Cage) as Jet Black
  • Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez/Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) as Faye Valentine
  • Alex Hassell (Translucent/The Boys) as Vicious
  • Elena Satine (Louise Ellis/Revenge) as Julia

The zombie hand next to the movies tag also has fans speculating that we'll also get a look at the Army of the Dead anime prequel.


 

The team behind Netflix's Castlevania anime is also confirmed to participate during the event do there's also a chance that the first details regarding the spinoff continuation could be revealed.

Netflix's #GeekedWeek runs from Jun7-11.

I fell off of Castlevania tbh, it's weird how most english anime voice actors when dubbing Japanese tend to over act often horrendously, so when they make an original English language anime with professional physical IRL actors well it turns out they're not used to voice acting so they over-act even worse. I wish there was a Japanese version with English subtitles.

Netflix adapting Cowboy Bebop? I'm sceptical that they could make something as good/better but i'd watch a bad Cowboy Bepop Cosplay Theatre show if it was on Netflix rn cus im bored. Congrats Netflix.
