The Japanese live-action drama of Erased released a visual poster announcing it will start streaming on the Japanese version of Netflix on December 15th of this year. The visual also gives a little taste of what to expect from this version of Erased compared to the live-action movie that was released in March 2016 and the A-1 Pictures anime that aired in the Winter Anime Season of 2016. The series will also follow the original manga climax, unlike the anime and film.

The live-action drama will also be released in 190 other countries through Netflix in December, however, it’s not known if the American version of Netflix will be one of those countries or we will have to wait. Based on the current waiting time of the anime series releasing to American Netflix from Japan like Little Witch Academia and Fate/Apocrypha, we could be not getting Erased until late 2018 or early 2019.

This news soon comes after Netflix dumps 8 billion dollars for new exclusive anime shows and the MOB PSYCHO 100 live-action drama series slated for January of next year that’s produced by TV Tokyo & Netflix.
