Netflix will return with a second season of B: The Beginning this March and the latest trailer assures fans that the action will be just as insane as the first season. The second season will debut worldwide on March 18.  The trailer below can be viewed in both English and Japanese.

Netflix teamed with Production I.G. on the project, enlisting Itsuro Kawasaki as the director, Kazuto Nakazawa and Katsunari Ishida as series writers, while Hideoki Kusama teamed with Akane Yano to design the characters.

The first season of B: The Beginning premiered in March 2018, so fans of the series have had a somewhat lengthy wait for a continuation. The series is one of Netflix's more successful forays into original sci-fi anime, securing a 7.34 MAL score and a 7.2 on IMDB.

Among other Netflix original anime titles like 7 Seeds, Hero Mask, Cagaster of an Insect Cage, and Revisions, B: The Beginning was by far, more favorably received by North American anime fans.

In a world powered by advanced technology, crime and action sweep through the archipelagic nation of cremona. Chief among the major players is “Killer B” - a serial killer who has thrown the city into chaos. The stories of Koku, the protagonist, Keith, a legendary investigator of the Royal Investigation Service, and a mysterious criminal organization intertwine on the path to reach their objectives. A wide variety of unforgettable characters surround them on the journey, as they attempt to stop a chain of horrific crimes in this suspense drama. When Keith is abducted and a friend from Koku’s past resurfaces, Killer B returns and everyone is pulled into a conspiracy involving the crown.
