New International GANTZ: O TV Spot Previews Theme Song From desscodes

TOHO Animation has released a new Japanese TV spot for its upcoming CG anime film, Gantz:O. The new preview features a snippet of the film's theme song, Ningen Video" (Human Video) by the dresscodes.

The new Gantz: O film from TOHO animation will hit Japanese theaters on October 14 and marketing is beginning to ramp up. Following the release of the first theatrical trailer, a new TV spot has been released which features the first snippets from dresscodes' theme song for the film, Ningen Video (Human Video).

Hiroya Oku's Gantz manga launched in 2000 and ended in 2013 and 37 volumes.  Studio Gonzo produced a 26-episode anime series in 2004.  A two-part live-action film was released in Japanese theaters in January and April 2011.
 



SYNOPSIS: The anime film adapts the Osaka arc of the manga which begins the story a teenager named Kei Kurono and his friend Masaru Kato who die in a train accident but are transported to a semi-posthumous/purgatory game where they meet other recently deceased individuals and are forced to hunt down aliens to earn points.  It's later revealed that the entire ordeal is part of a larger, extraterrestial conflict wherein alien technology was sent to Earth by a benelovent species in an attempt to help humanity fend off an impending attack from a conquering race currently headed to the planet.
