Chainsaw Man skyrocketed in popularity thanks to MAPPA's 12-episode anime adaptation of the Japanese seinen manga series which premiered in October 2022. Volumes of the manga series were first released stateside in October 2020 and steadily gained steam thanks to word of mouth but really took off thanks to the anime.
Perhaps the real winner on this list is Viz Media, who publishes 19 of the 20 titles on this list, save for Dark Horse's Berserk.
