On July 10, the official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Mysterious Disappearances by Nujima revealed two key voice actors and the series' 2024 start date. In January 2023, the TV anime project was made public. Let's check out the two new voice actors below!
Sumireko Ogawa voiced by Fairouz Ai
A female writer who loves the occult and drinking. At the age of 15, she won the Rookie Award at a novel award, but has not been successful as a writer since then. Now she works in a bookstore. A "reverse shoplifting book" given to her on her birthday leads her into a series of mysterious incidents.
Ren Adashino voiced by Daiki Yamashita
A young man with a childish face and narrow eyes who works at the same bookstore as Kaoruko. He loves Kaoruko and is also a fan of her novels, waiting for her new works. For some reason, he knows a lot about supernatural phenomenon, and seems to have a secret that Kaoruko doesn't know about...
The sixth tankobon volume of the manga, which has been serialized on Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits website since October 2019, will be released in Japan on July 21.
