Following last week's short delay, Studio Bug Films' next episode of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (Zon 100 ~ Zonbi ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto ~) has also been delayed.
The series currently airs in Japan on Sundays at 5 pm JST. However, episode 4 was delayed last week due to what the studio called production issues. This resulted in the episode being pushed to debuting on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix on July 31 at 2 am PST.
This week, episode 5 has reportedly been delayed due to special programming set to air in its timeslot. Episode 5 will now be released on August 13. There's reportedly a special zombie variety program that airing in the show's usual timeslot.
The Zom 100 anime is based on an ongoing manga series from writer Haro Aso (Alice in Borderland) and artist Kotaro Takata. The series is currently serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X. Fourteen volumes have been released to date.
Viz Media holds the North American license for the series and has released 10 translated volumes to date. The 11th volume is currently slated for release on August 15, 2023.
A live-action film adaptation will be released globally by Netflix on August 3.
