Thanks to the popularity of the Chainsaw Man anime, which included his opening theme song KICK BACK, Japanese singer Kenishi Yonezu has had a phenomenal year in the music industry. The collective Recording business Association of America is the source of Yonezu's most recent success: getting his first ever Gold-certified record! As of right now, KICK BACK is the only song composed and performed in Japanese to receive a Gold certification since the RIAA began awarding Gold and Platinum certificates in 1958.
