Music is a big part of the entertainment medium, with so much expression being told through a simple few-minute song. Anime music is no different, and many people have opinions on what theme songs bop and which ones don't. Seeing another instance of Anime! Anime! reaching out to its users, we can now find out what themes were deemed the cream of the crop of 2022.
Apparently, the top dog of the anime theme song poll was Chainsaw Man, which was previously subjected to a petition seeking to remake the show with a new director and without the involvement of MAPPA.
This poll only showed mild improvement from its previous poll on anime films. The survey had about 331 participants and retained its predominantly female respondents. The survey had 32.6% male respondents, contrasted by a 64.7% female margin. Nearly half of the participants -- a whopping 49.2% -- were 19 or below. The 20 to 24 age range made up more ground, with 13.3% of the respondents, contrasting the usually higher number of 25 through 29 bracket, which only makes up 9.4%. Those 30 or over made up the remaining 28.1%.
At the tail end of the year, we got to see what TV anime caught the attention of The Land of the Rising Sun's anime community and what films stuck with them as well. We also learned that the country's highest-grossing films of the year were all anime. This was the third survey conducted by Anime! Anime! in late 2022.
