This anime season's summer is sunny and lovely, but the currently airing Dark Gathering anime casts a gloomy shadow over it with its monthly spiritual encounters. Kana the Hanazawa, who does Eiko Hozuki's voice in the show, debuted the theme song "Haiiro" in Episode 2, as well as introduced the concluding theme sequence's creditless version!

Dark Gathering, based on the 2019 manga by Kenichi Kondo, is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata (TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You) at studio OLM (Summer Time Rendering, ODDTAXI), with character designs by Shinya Segawa (Pastel Memories) and series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi (ZOMBIE LAND SAGA). VIZ Media distributes the manga's official English translation.
