Devils' Crest Anime Trailer Adds Cast And CBMTrollsa's Ending Theme Before November Release

Production I.G's Devils' Crest anime dropped a second trailer with CBMTrollsa's ending ReaL and two new voices. Reki Kawahara's series premieres November 6 on Prime Video.

Devils' Crest has a new second trailer, an ending song, and two more voices. The official site posted the promo on Friday. CBMTrollsa performs the ending, "ReaL." Atsushi Tamaru joins as Shin Haizaki. Ayumu Murase joins as Kakeru Niki. The series premieres worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on November 6.

Warner Bros. Japan Anime put an English-subtitled cut of the same video on YouTube. The song is the thing the trailer is built to preview. CBMTrollsa, a singer-songwriter with a Mayonaka Heart Tune credit, wrote "ReaL" for the show. In a comment carried by Japanese coverage, she called it a message song about holding onto the people who support you, and yourself, even when it feels lonely. That fits a story about kids stuck in a game. The opening is already set: Ado performs "Shinka."

The show adapts Reki Kawahara's Demons' Crest novels. Kawahara is the Sword Art Online and Accel World writer, so a death-game VRMMORPG is not a surprise on the cover. This one is worse than a voluntary login. Actual Magic seals an entire class of sixth graders inside a game that will kill them. Eleven-year-old Yuuma and his friends are in it. A classmate has already been turned into a monster. Giant beasts are around every corner. The only guide is the demon Valac, who has possessed Yuuma's twin sister. Following Valac, the party goes after a missing friend, Nagi, and the synopsis says an unexpected encounter is waiting.

Kadokawa launched the light novels under Dengeki Bunko in November 2022, with illustrations by Yukiko Horiguchi. Volume 4 came out December 10, 2025. Yen Press has the English editions. Volume 3 shipped in English in December 2025. The anime is using Horiguchi's designs, which is the clean version of an adaptation: the novel artist is the character designer.

Production I.G is the studio. Shinji Ushiro is chief director, with Yokai Watch, Mazica Party, and Scum of the Brave on the list. Kenichiro Komaya directs, coming off Nina the Starry Bride and Kizuna no Allele. Eiji Umehara is on series scripts. He has written for Re:ZERO and did series composition on Suicide Squad ISEKAI. Music is Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia, Haikyu!!) and Naoyuki Chikatani.

The cast that was already locked is a kids-in-peril lineup with a few bigger names in the supporting slots. Haruka Shiraishi is Yuma Ashihara. Konomi Inagaki is Sawa Ashihara, the twin. Yuya Hirose is Kenji Kondo. Satomi Amano is Minagi Sano. Yusuke Kobayashi is Teruki Sugamo. Maaya Uchida is Aria Misono. Rie Murakawa is Kai Kisanuki. Sora Amamiya is Sumika Watamaki. Tamaru and Murase are the Friday additions. Tamaru's recent credits include the fishing-isekai show. Murase is the Yomi no Tsugai voice.

November 6 is a worldwide Prime Video drop, not a split Japanese broadcast and a later license. That is the Kawahara pattern lately: a known novelist, a game-world premise, a streamer that can put the whole season in one window. The second promo is the last big cast sheet before that date. Ado on the open, CBMTrollsa on the close for the themes.

If you bounced off Sword Art Online years ago, this is a series from the same writer putting sixth graders in the trap of the video game instead of high schoolers who chose to log in.
