Crunchyroll has announced that it will release Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in theaters for fans of the popular supernatural anime on March 18th in the United States and Canada. Tickets will go on sale beginning February 25th.
The dark supernatural fantasy anime film from TOHO Animation (My Hero Academia, Pshyco-Pass: The Movie) will be available in both English subtitled and English dubbed. It will land in more than 1,500 theaters nationwide. It will also be released on IMAX in select U.S. theaters.
No dates yet for Jujutsu Kaisen 0's release in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxenbourg, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Africa and Latin America, but Crunchyroll has promised that those dates will be announced soon.
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is based upon the best-selling manga of the same name. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump and has sold more than 60 million copies in Japan. VIZ Media publishes the series in the United States. Jujutsu Kaisen was named "Anime of the Year" by the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2021.
The series is available on both Crunchyroll and Funimation's streaming platforms, in both subbed and dubbed. You'll want to catch up on the series before watching Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as it serves as a prequel to the hit anime.
The Japanese voice cast includes Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu, Kana Hanazawa as Rika Orimoto, Mikako Komatsu as Maki Zen'in, Koki Uchiyama as Toge Inumaki, Tomokazu Seki as Panda, Yuichi Nakamura as Satoro Gojo, and Takahiro Sakurai as Suguru Geto.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 follows Yuta Okkotsu, a nervous high school student, who enrolls in the mysterious Tokyo Jujutsu High School under the guidance of Satoru Gojo after being haunted by the curse of his childhood friend. The film is based on JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 (JUMP COMICS / Shueisha), a prequel manga to the smash hit supernatural adventure series from Gege Akutami.
