Big news for fans of the popular superhero manga My Hero Academia! The franchise just announced its fourth anime film! Limited details have been revealed as of right now. Although the film's title and release date have not yet been confirmed, the anime is expected to have an entirely original plot and is currently known as My Hero Academia THE MOVIE (which may change over the course of production).

Along with announcing the anime's fourth film, the original auther of My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi, released the following statement:

Hello everyone, this is Horikoshi, the original author.
This is Hiroaka's fourth movie! Thanks to all of you for your support, thank you very much!
When the series started, I never imagined that you would support me for such a long time!
It's because Mr. Bonds and Mr. Toho made an animation every year and broadcast it.
Four movies really surprised me.
It reminds me of the Dragon Ball movies that were shown almost every year when I was a kid.
I really enjoyed watching it. Without exaggerating, I remember sitting in my seat at the cinema with my heart pounding.
I would be happy if I could return the excitement and excitement that I have received from manga movies to at least one boy and girl around the world!

This time, as in the past, the content will be in line with the time series that was broadcast on TV animation.
The stage of this time is a society that has finally collapsed safely in anime.
What will Deku and his friends, who have realized and grown up while walking, will fight and protect? looking forward to!

Although the film won't follow the classic My Hero Academia TV anime series' storyline, we thought we would refresh your memory, or introduce to you new comers, the storyline for the series below:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
