We're a little over a month away from the season 2 premiere of
My Hero Academia and TOHO Animation has uploaded a new TV spot that's currently playing on Japanese airwaves. The new footage focuses on Shōto Todoroki and his "Half-Hot,Half-Cold" quick which gives him the ability to create ice with one-half of his body and fire with the other. The commercial also shines the spotlight on Fumikage Tokoyami and his "Dark Shadow" quick which allows the bird-man to wield a sentient shadow monster/pet that he keeps hosted in his body.
Season 2 kicks off March 25. Be sure to check Anime Mojo often to find out which platform will simulcast the shonen series as it airs in Japan.

Mankind has developed superpowers known as "Quirks" with 80% of the population having some kind of superpower. These new abilities see the rise of both superheroes and villains. A prestigious school known as the The Hero Academy trains superpowered hopefuls into the heroes the world needs. Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he's part the 20% without a Quirk. Unwilling to give up his dream, he plans to take the exam and be accepted into a high school for budding heroes. Through a series of serendipitous events, he catches the eye of the greatest hero, All Might, who agrees to train him.
