Last month we announced that My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission was coming to North American theaters, which is sure to have fans of the popular superhero anime excited.

This month we have even more exciting news as it's been announced that the My Hero Academia anime will be getting a sixth season!

The announcement was made during the 25th and final episode of My Hero Academia Season 5 that just aired in Japan. No word yet on when we can expect to see the next season, but  it is said that the next season of My Hero Academia will adapt the "Paranormal Liberation Arc" from the original manga.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission, the third feature film of the franchise, is set to hit North American theaters next month (October 2021), so fans won't have to wait very long to revisit U.A. High!

2 hours to save the world + all-new stealth suits = a movie you definitely won't want to miss! My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission heads to theaters October 29.

The My Hero Academia anime is based upon the Japanese superhero manga of the same name that is written and illustrated by Kohei Hoikoshi. The anime series is produced by Studio Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist), directed by Kenju Nagasaki (Gundam Build Fighters), and written by Yōsuke Kuroda (Goblin Slayer).

All 113 current episodes of My Hero Academia are currently streaming on Crunchyroll and available through Funimation's official streaming app and service.
