The announcement was made during the 25th and final episode of My Hero Academia Season 5 that just aired in Japan. No word yet on when we can expect to see the next season, but  it is said that the next season of My Hero Academia will adapt the "Paranormal Liberation Arc" from the original manga.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission, the third feature film of the franchise, is set to hit North American theaters next month (October 2021), so fans won't have to wait very long to revisit U.A. High!

The My Hero Academia anime is based upon the Japanese superhero manga of the same name that is written and illustrated by Kohei Hoikoshi.
