During a special One Punch Man Fall Festival in Japan, severl staff members from Madhouse confirmed that a second season of the smash hit anime is in the works.
The series debuted as a web comic from the enigmatic One in 2009. Shueisha's Young Jump Web Comics began publishing the series in 2012, with Yusuke Murata redrawing One's crude artwork. An anime adaptation premiered during the Fall 2015 anime season. In the US, Cartoon Network's Toonami began airing an English-dub version in July.
No further details were revealed but anime fans are excited nonetheless and already speculating on when a new season could premiere. Most believe Winter 2018 would be the earliest it could debut but the true die-hards are remainign optimistic that season 2 could be released sooner.
