Players could encounter and battle them while progressing through different narrative paths rather than saving the entire group for the very end.

- Mahou Tour: Centers on a new battle gimmick referred to as "netsu" (Japanese for heat or temperature), which appears tied to dynamic weather or temperature-based mechanics.
- Post-game content: Leaks point to MMO-style or co-op features that expand the Mahou Tour into multiplayer experiences.
Pokemon Winds and Waves are both scheduled for 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2 and represent the tenth generation of mainline games. The titles were first revealed on Pokemon Day 2026 alongside the starter trio Browt (Grass), Gecqua (Water), and Pombon (Fire). The region is expected to emphasize water and island environments, which makes a Water-type Elite Four member a natural thematic fit.
Leaks of this nature tend to evolve as more information surfaces or as earlier claims are refined. The current set of details about the Elite Four, the open structure, and the three-route story gives fans a clearer picture of how Game Freak may be building on the lessons of Scarlet and Violet while introducing new systems around temperature and multiplayer.
Until official information arrives, the Water, Grass, Fire, and Electric Elite Four remains an intriguing but unverified possibility. If accurate, it would mark the first time Grass and Electric have served as dedicated Elite Four specialties in the main series, adding a fresh challenge to the traditional endgame formula.
