Romelia War Chronicle showed its official theme music and release dates on the same trailer. A new promotional video dropped Saturday with the opening, the ending, and a two-day streaming jump on Japanese platforms.
Chogakusei sings the opening, "Akatsuki ni Naru" (Daybreak Resounds). Kohta Yamamoto handles the ending, "Nightfall feat. Maika Loubté," and the score. Pony Canyon is on music production. Both themes play in the new PV. Check out the new promo video below:
Japanese streaming starts first. Anime Times, U-NEXT, and Netflix carry episode 1 on October 3 at 9:00 p.m. Television follows on October 5 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV, then later that night on KBS Kyoto. CBC joins October 10. The show is booked for two cours. Crunchyroll streams it as it airs outside that Japanese exclusive window.
Ryo Ariyama's light novel opened on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2019, then moved to Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko. The full title spells out the joke and the job: even after the Demon King falls, humanity still looks doomed, so she builds an army. Kodama did the original character art. Ryo Ueto draws the Mag Garden manga. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes that manga in English.
The story starts after the victory lap. Romelia travels with her fiancé, Prince Henri Lleus Lionel, on the quest to kill the Demon King. She has no magic and no battlefield strength. Trade, negotiation, money, and information are what she actually does. When the fighting ends, she is labeled dead weight. The engagement is canceled. Henri's party comes home as heroes. She goes home as a problem.
Demons and the late king's allies are still in the field. The kingdom is not fixed. Romelia uses the skills nobody wanted on the front line to stand up a force of her own and keep the province, then the country, from sliding.
Yuna Nemoto voices Romelia. Yuya Hirose is Henri. Jin Ogasawara and Tomohiro Ono are Al and Ray. Sayaka Senbongi is Elizabeth. Mariya Ise is Ekaterina. The rest of the announced roster covers the knights and staff around her new command: Gran, Ragn, Kyle, Otto, Hans, and a long bench of unit names.
Studio Atra is producing. The official trailer now credits Koji Saito as series director, with Takahiro Hirata as assistant director. Aya Satsuki has series composition and scripts. Yoshiko Saito and Yuta Otaka designed the characters. GRAPHINICA is on photography. Yamamoto's music sits under all of that.
Satsuki's recent slate includes Solo Camping for Two and A Girl & Her Guard Dog. Yamamoto's name already travels on other action and fantasy scores. Chogakusei taking the opening puts a known streaming-era singer on a fall fantasy that is selling logistics as the hook.
The October 3 stream gives Japanese Netflix, U-NEXT, and Anime Times a Saturday night start before the Monday TV slot. Crunchyroll's simulcast is the international door. No episode count beyond the two-cour booking was attached to this trailer.
