The baseball-themed Tribe Nine anime was originally announced back in 2020. Information on the project, which will also include a video game, has been sparse until today!
Tribe Nine is set to make its anime debut next month (January 2022) and today we have the opening and closing theme songs to share! Not only do we have the songs to share, we also have their respective video and animation clips that will be accompanying the songs (minus the text/credits). Make sure and check them both out below!
The base-ball themed sci-fi action anime's opening song, entitled "Strike It Out", is performed by MIYAVI (ID: Invaded). The ending song, "Infocus", is preformed by Void_Chords (SK8 the Infinity) featuring LIO.
Tribe Nine will release in January (2022) through Funimation's official streaming app and service. The anime follows different teams throughout Neo Tokyo as they take part in matches of extreme baseball, which end up being more like action-packed showdowns.
The Tribe Nine anime is directed by Yu Aoki and animated at studio Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers). The Japanese voice cast includes Akira Ishida (The Future Diary), Shun Horie (Visual Prison), Chiharu Sawashiro (Caligula) and Junichi Suwabe (My Hero Academia).
