The DEMON SLAYER Movie Will Be Released On Blu-ray In Japan On June 16
It's been confirmed that Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train will hit Japanese blu-ray and DVD on June 16 and that English-subtitles will be included.
After smashing records at the Japanese box office, the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train film is poised to take over the home video market starting June 16 (although the film is still performing fairly strong at the box office 5 months later). The disc will reportedly contain English-subtitles so North American fans with a region-free blu-ray player will be able to watch the film without the requirement of needing to understand Japanese.
Limited edition copies of the blu-ray will also include a special illustration from the Demon Slayer TV anime's animation director Akira Matsushima (pictured below).
Funimation and Aniplex are reportedly set to screen the film for North American audiences in early-2021. The film actually had a small, limited run in Miami back in February to qualify for the Osacrs but failed to secure a nomination.

The film more recently passed Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away in December to become the highest grossing film of all-time in Japan, and more recently passed the same film to become the highest grossing anime film of all-time worldwide thanks to the film's international earnings.
Tanjirou Kamado and his friends from the Demon Slayer Corps accompany Kyoujurou Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, to investigate a mysterious series of disappearances occurring inside a train. Little do they know that Enmu, one of the Twelve Kizuki, is also on board and has prepared a trap for them.
