We have some exciting news for the manga fans here! Kinnikuman Yojigen Sapp Satsujin Jiken (Kinnikuman 4D Killer Murder Case), a new book for the Kinnikuman series, is listed on Shueisha's Jump J-Books website as slated for release on March 17!
The novel is being written by Oginuma X, and Yudetamago, the creator of the original series, is supervising. The missing person in the mystery book is Kinnikuman. Meat-kun and Kinkotsuman go in pursuit of him. As they look, they come across killings carried out by superhumans. Together, they search for Kinnikuman as well as the perpetrators.
The Jump J Books' official website for the new mystery manga has the following description of the story plot released:
Kinnikuman has disappeared! Meat-kun, a senior vassal, sets out on a search with Kinkotsuman as his partner, who is burning with revenge against Kinnikuman.
However, wherever they go, they encounter murders by superhumans—that is, "superhuman murders"!
It's only natural that they can transform and alter themselves, some have mechanical bodies, some have faces that connect to black holes, some can stop time, some can flush everything down the toilet attached to their bodies... !
Tricks that ignore the laws of physics for suspects with various abilities...!
Who is the culprit! ? And where is Kinnikuman! ?
In 2011, the manga-creating team known as Yudetamago picked up where they left off with their original Kinnikuman wrestling manga and continued publishing it as a free web manga. The authors went back to the original Kinnikuman tale that they had written in 1979 and picked up from the point where they had left off in 1987.
The original manga has served as the basis for a number of anime television shows and films. Previously, in 2015, Yudetamago released a one-shot manga chapter of Kinnikuman in the magazine Grand Jump published by Shueisha. Most recently, in June 2019, Yudetamago published a one-shot chapter of Kinnikuman in Weekly Shonen Jump for the first time in 11 years. On November 4, the eightieth collected book edition of the manga was distributed in Japan. The 81st volume is scheduled to be distributed on March 17th. March 17.
