One US media outlet was given exclusive permission to post the first two opening minutes from Scarlett Johansson's live-action Ghost in the Shell movie.

Following the release of the first full theatrical trailer, below, you check out the first two minutes from the live-action Ghost in the Shell movie which painstakingly recreates the opening from Mamoru Oshii's 95 anime film, nearly shot-for-shot.   Kenji Kawai, who composed music for the original anime film, recorded a brand new drum score for director Rupert Sanders' live-action adaptation.



In addition to the trailer and opening sequence, a brand new poster was also unveiled.



Ghost in the Shell opens in US theaters on March 31, 2017.

OFFICIAL MOVIE SYNOPSIS:  Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, "GHOST IN THE SHELL" follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic¹s advancements in cyber technology.
