The first episode of Season 4 was actually part of the recent theatrical release of Demon Slayer: To The Hashira Training. A direct sequel to Season 3 of the anime series, the latest film was based on the "Swordsmith Village" and "Hashira Training" arcs of the manga. Similar to the Swordsmith Village film adaptation, which was released in February 2023, it acted as a compilation film of the anime series, incorporating the last episode of the third season and the first episode of the fourth season.
