Attention Demon Slayer fans! The second leg of the Demon Slayer world tour took place over the weekend. With more than 600 million yen made over the past week, Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour, which took Los Angeles by storm on its home soil, is currently keeping the special screenings going strong, pushing the box office total to more over 2.6 billion yen!
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - To the Swordsmith Village has earned 2.63 billion yen (US$19.91 million) as of February 19 thanks to the 1,874,000 tickets that were sold for the special showings. These screenings have already outperformed the combined Japanese box office performances for The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, making them the highest-grossing recap/preview screenings for a TV anime.

The feature-length edit of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, "To the Swordsmith Village," includes the expanded Episode 1 of the future Swordsmith Village Arc as well as Episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc in 4K with restored audio. The movie had its Japanese debut on February 3 and its L.A. premiere on February 18, followed by its general release on March 3. It will be broadcast in 95 nations and territories.
The most recent arc to air was The Entertainment District Arc, which debuted on Japanese TV on December 5, 2021 and was streamed on Crunchyroll every week soon after. On Crunchyroll, you can also watch the rest of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series, including the Mugen Train movie and arc.
The official premiere date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc is set for sometime this April. Check out the trailer for the new series (below)!
