It's been announced that five special compilation episodes will be airing for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime in Japan a little later this month (September, 2021). The new compilation episodes are meant to catch fans of the series up with the events so far from Tanjiro Kamado's story.
To celebrate the two new episodes, as well as the three that will be rebroadcasted, studio ufotable has released some amazing new artwork that is sure to please fans of the popular anime series. The five recap episodes will include the new visuals (included below), as well as som new eyecatching commercial breaks, end credits, and trailers for the next episode.
Japanese fans can look for the recap episodes to begin airing next week on September 11th and wrapping up on September 23rd. The special compilations of the story arcs will begin with Tanjiro's training at Butterfly Mansion, and will include the creepy demon and Breathing technique just in time for the return of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime later this year.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train will be broadcast for the first time on Japanese television on September 25th.
The recap issues that are being rebroadcast - Sibling's Bond, Mt. Natagumo, and The Hashira Meeting - are available now via Funimation's official streaming app.
