High School DxD Hero first aired on Crunchyroll back on April 10 of this year. As expected, it’s originally dubbed in Japanese, but as usual, Crunchyroll has the English subtitles, and the same can also be said for Hulu.
The anime follows the story of Issei Hyōdō, a second-year high school student who on his first date of his life, was killed by a girl. As it turns out, Issei was reincarnated as a devil, and he now serves under a higher devil known as Rias.
So far, High School DxD Hero is one of the best new series available for viewing today. Based on a series of light novels, and since its entry to serialization back in 2008 as part of Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine.
Since 2008, the series has been collected into 22 volumes, and even a manga volume has been formed.
