One-Punch Man are sure to be excited with the new announcement today from Crunchyroll Games as we have a brand-new trailer for One-Punch Man: World that includes new in-game footage for the 3D fighter, but we also have the official launch date for the game, and it's right around the corner!
The upcoming game that recently completed it's closed beta test finds its roots in the widely acclaimed One-Punch Man manga and anime series. Created by the artist ONE which started out as a web comic, with its anime first airing in 2015, rapidly gained a cult following for its unique blend of humor, action. Not to mention a protagonist who can defeat enemies with a single punch.
Developed by Perfect World, the developer behind titles like The Phantom X, and Tower of Fantasy, the game will follow the first season of the popular anime. It will include iconic and fan-favorite characters such as Mumen Rider, Silverfang, and Genos, among others. It will also include multiplayer modes that will see heroes teaming up to defeat villains found in the anime.
According to the press release that hit today, One-Punch Man: World will be available for Wiindows PC, Android, and iOS when it lands next month on January 31st, 2024. It will also include cross-platform play and progression.

One-Punch Man began as a web comic in 2009 and was created by the artist ONE. In June of 2012 a digital manga remake was published on the Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump web site. The manga is illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Its chapters are periodically compiled and published into individual tankōbon volumes.
An anime adaptation of the manga debuted in October of 2015 in Japan. The first season of the anime was produced by Madhouse and the second season, which originally aired in April of 2019, was produced by J.C. Staff.
