I’m Dating a Dark Summoner now has a release date and theme song. The official site posted the main promotional video and a new NSFW visual today. Tokyo MX airs it October 4 at 25:20, which is 1:20 a.m. on October 5. BS11 follows on October 7. HIDIVE simulcasts it in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Sentai Filmworks holds the license.
The opening theme is "Zettai Kansei Kisei Jijitsu" by Ringo Coisio. The ending theme is "AKUMA No? Hime Goto" by Mao Komiya. The PV plays the OP over the new party shots.
Two more names joined the voice acting booth.
- Akane Nishimura as Haru, party leader and swordswoman
- Maya Ayahane as Eury, an elf archer from the Lilylala forest

- Rei Takano as Amona, a demi-human dark summoner who works with demon power
- Yuki Nishiyama as Roni, the straight-laced cleric

Seiya Miyajima directs, writes, and handles series composition. His other credits include Umayon and BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico. Takahiro Sasaki is character designer and chief animation director (Chronicles of the Going Home Club). AtoriE animates with Nyan Pollution-ω- assisting. Sound director is Fumihiko Otera. Art director is Yoichiro Yamamoto. Color design is Daiki Ura at DEFA. Photography is Tasuku Ozu. Editing is Toma Hayashima. Producers are Yasuhiro Aoki and Kota Hashiguchi.

The label for the anime is Deregula, under WWWave Corporation, the same company behind ComicFesta and the AnimeFesta block. That usually means more than one cut of the show. Japanese listings describe three grades: a TV version with picture and audio edits, a Deregula cut with audio edits only, and a Complete Deregula version with neither. AnimeFesta is the home for the full cut. HIDIVE has not posted which grade it will carry episode one.
The manga is Shaoh’s Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru, running on Kadokawa’s Dra Dra Sharp# since November 4, 2021. Volume 7 landed March 9. Volume 8 is October 9, five days after the TV start. Fujimi Shobo collects it under Dragon Comics Age.
The plot is the cleric-and-summoner setup the PV is selling. Amona joins Roni’s party. Holy and unholy, human and demi-human. Everyone in the group figures they will hate each other before the first camp. By the end of day one they have spent the night together. The show is a short-form erotic fantasy rom-com built on that mismatch, with Imp in the room and Haru and Eury now on the roster as the rest of the party.
It was announced February 20 as a short anime. Fall 2026 is the slot. Episode count is still blank. Runtime per episode is still blank. Short Deregula shows often land in the four-to-eight-minute range on late-night MX. Do not treat that as confirmed until a length card drops.
Miyajima coming off chibi band spinoffs into a Dra Dra Sharp# rom-com is the staff swing. AtoriE and Nyan Pollution-ω- have already worked adult-leaning shorts. Sasaki’s designs have to hold both the TV crop and the complete cut. Coisio and Komiya on the themes is the usual late-night package: a bright OP title about a finished fact, an ED that winks at the devil-princess joke.
HIDIVE’s own blurb calls Amona a demi-human girl who cannot keep her wants in check and Roni an overly serious priest. That is the whole engine. Haru running the party and Eury walking in from Lilylala gives the adaptation two more people who have to live with the couple after night one.
October 4 is a Sunday late slot in Japan. Volume 8 hits the same week. If you read the manga, the anime is a short recap machine with a new song. If you do not, HIDIVE is the English door.
