While I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss is a manga that is still being published by Yen Press, fans of the tale are excited about a recent announcement that the series is getting an anime adaptation.
Instead of following Cataline Claes it is instead the villainess Aileen Loren D'Autriche who will be the focal point for the anime adaptation of I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss.
There are little to no details about what's to come from the series. Not even a studio or release date has been announced, so a voice cast is likely far off. The following tweet features an image of Eileen shared by Mai Murasaki, the illustrator of the series, to celebrate the announcement of the anime.
What do you guys think? Are you excited about this anime adaptation of I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss or would you prefer a story about a heroine instead?

When her engagement to the prince ends unceremoniously, details of the young noblewoman Aileen’s past life come rushing back and help her realize she’s living inside the world of one of her favorite otome games—as the heroine’s greatest rival! However, her memory has more plot holes than bad fan fiction…and the only certainty is that if she doesn’t do something quick, her death is all but assured. The hero/main-love-interest can’t be relied on, so why not see what the last boss has to say?
I'm The Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss's anime adaptation currently has no release date announced.
