After a trailer for season 2 was released earlier this week, the staff for Netflix and Dreamworks' animated Voltron series confirmed to fans at NYCC that the show premieres January 20.   A new still [see above] was also releaed, via Entertainment Weekly.  

Will Shiro really suffer the same fate as his '80s counterpart, Sven?  I'd hedge my bets as the showrunners have proven that they love to subvert expectations and deliver shocking surprises.
