Fans of the light novel series Bibliophile Princess have a lot to be excited about as it's been officially announced that the popular series will see an anime adaptation land later this year!
The announcement made via Twitter (included below) shared that Taro Iwasaki will be directing, Mitsutaka Hirota would be handling the series composition, Mizuka Takashi will be in charge of character design, with animation production being done by studio Madhouse.
Bibliophile Princess (Mushikaburi-hime) is a Japanese light novel series written by Yui and illustrated by Satsuka Shiina. It was serialized between September 2015 and January 2022 through the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Ichijinsha, who has released five volumes since July 2016 under their Iris NEO label.
The light novels saw a manga adaptation by Yui Kikuta in August 2018, which has been serialized in Monthly Comic Zero Sum magazine.
