The Thai-born singer MindaRyn has revealed that her upcoming sixth single, titled "SURVIVE," will be released on May 24, 2023, and that the title track of the single will serve as the opening theme for the television anime series Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion set to premiere this spring! The song is described as "a hard rock melody with the concept of'strength to endure in the face of adversities,' inspired by the protagonist Raeliana," on her official website.
The piano ballad "Fireworks," which was created recently, and "The Cause of Kindness (English Version)," which is an English cover of ChouCho's "Yasashisa no Riyuu," are both included on the CD single (the opening theme song for the 2012 TV anime Hyouka).
Here's the official message from MindaRyn:
In this song "SYURVIVE," I expressed the protagonist Raeliana's desperate attempt to survive and her determination in any environment without giving up. I sing with passionate power so that I can be a force to overcome the difficulties that occur in this world together. I hope you also enjoy the opening theme that I sing.
Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion is written by Milcha, illustrated by Whale, and published in Japanese by Kadokawa Shoten and in English by Yen Press, who describe the story of the series:
Eunha Park thought she was getting another chance at life when she awoke in the world of a novel. The only problem? Raeliana McMillan, the character she was reborn as, is fated to be killed by her fiancé! For the sake of her survival, she comes up with an idea—get into a fake marriage with a man more powerful than her groom-to-be. But when that protection comes in the form of Noah Wynknight, the duke with a warm smile and cold heart, Raeliana realizes she might be a bit in over her head…She’s going to regret this plan, isn’t she?
