Crunchyroll's Spring 2024 anime season lineup just added more firepower. It was announced this week that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc will premiere exclusively on the streaming service on May 12. An exact time has not yet been announced.

New episodes in the latest season of Demon Slayer will follow release every week on Crunchyroll in North America, South America and Europe as part of the previously announced Spring 2024 anime lineup. Dubs for English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu are eventually coming, although no date has been announced.

The synopsis for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc, courtesy of Crunchyroll, reads:

To the Hashira Training…

The members of the Demon Slayer Corps and their highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira.

In preparation for the forthcoming final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, the Hashira Training commences. While each carry faith and determination within their hearts, Tanjiro and the Hashira enter a new story.

Anime studio ufotable is producing the latest season with Haruo Sotozaki returning to direct. Akira Matsushima serves as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer, with music by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.

As previously announced, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc will premiere in Japan with a one-hour-long first episode.

For those who want to catch up on the previous arcs, you can also find them all on Crunchyroll. The service describes the series:

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.

Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc is the latest addition to an already jam-packed and exciting spring anime lineup for Crunchyroll. Also coming to the service over the next couple of months are Kaiju No. 8 (April 13), My Hero Academia Season 7 (New episodes starting May 4), That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 (now available), and Black Butler -Public School Arc- (April 13). But this is just the tip of the iceberg as there are plenty of other anime series and movies coming this Spring.
