Earlier this month we reported that the Demon Slayer would be getting recap episodes would be airing this month to get fans up to speed on what's been happening in the popular anime series.
It's now been announced by Aniplex that the Demon Slayer will be returning next month with a 7-episode miniseries adapting the Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train film to the anime series. The miniseries will include new visuals, background music, and more.
A new poster was revealed for the Mugen Train Arc to celebrate the upcoming October 10th (2021) premiere of the new episodes. Make sure and check it out below!
The popular manga Entertainment District Arc will be premiering December 5th, 2021, with a one-hour special. The opening theme "Zankyosanka" and ending theme "Asa ga kuru!" will be performed by Aimer.
Both the anime Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc will be available via Funimation's streaming app and service in North America (United States and Canada), the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
