About The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic

The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic is a unique take on the isekai genre, focusing on a protagonist whose strength comes from healing magic, rather than destructive powers or predestined greatness as a hero.

This series subverts the conventional fantasy trope by showcasing how a power typically seen as passive or supportive can become a tool for survival and combat in the hands of its determined protagonist, Usato Ken.

The light novel series, penned by Kurokata, is known for its blend of humor, action, and character development, exploring themes of resilience, innovation, and the importance of non-traditional roles in a fantasy setting. KeG's artwork brings the characters and world of The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic to life, complementing the narrative and deepening the connection to the characters and their adventures.

The collaboration between Kurokata and KeG has resulted in a series that challenges readers to reconsider their perceptions of strength and heroism in fantasy worlds, showcasing the courage it takes to offer a healing hand in the midst of chaos. The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is a must-read for fans of the isekai genre.

The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic light novel series was launched on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in March 2014. The first volume of the novel with illustrations by KeG was published by the MF Books imprint in March 2016, and the 12th and final volume was released in March 2020.

The story is being adapted into a manga by Reki Kyūgazan, with Kadokawa publishing the volumes in print.
