Exciting news for ZOIDS fans! The popular robot animal anime series is celebrating its 40th anniversary and in honor of the huge milestone, the anime's official twitter just announced that they will be releasing a new project this spring!

Though it hasn't been confirmed that the new project is an anime adaptation, references to Planet Zi, the phrase "He's coming back..." (possibly alluding to Van Flyheight, the main character of Zoids: Chaotic Century), and the use of ZOIDS TV anime footage have some fans believing that a new anime may be in the works. We'll just have to wait and see for the time being.

Check out the official announcement and watch the promo video along with it!

The anime hasn't released any new episodes or series since 2019, when Zoids Wild Zero ended (check out the trailer for this series below). It will be exciting to see what the new project will be as they release more information and promos closer to the expected release date!
