The Japanese manga series Afro Samurai was created by Takashi Okazaki. It was serialized between the September 1998 and April 2004 issues of the monthly magazine Ultra Jump. It tells the tale of Afro, a black samurai on a mission to revenge the death of his father, who was murdered by a character by the name of Justice.
