Japan's premiere manga magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump (which is unsurprisingly released every week) is reportedly going to announce on Monday that the Jump shonen manga series receiving an anime adaptation at Jump Festa will be Yūki Tabata's Black Clover manga. Manga fans and Jump subscribers actually zeroed in on Black Cover being the likely title as soon as news of a new anime title was first teased.
In addition to a new episode of My Hero Academia that will bridge the gap between season one and the upcoming second season, an original Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma story will also be given away at the festival, which runs November 27 thru December 04.
Black Cover debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015 as part of the magazine's "Jump Start" initiative program. Currently, there have been 7 volumes compiled, just enough material for an anime adaptation.
We'll keep you posted once further details are released such as the anime studio and voice cast behind the project.
