Star Wars: Visions, the Star Wars inspired anime anthology that landed on Disney+ last year, quickly proved itself one of the most exciting and unique takes on the Galaxy Far, Far Away that's been seen in some time.
It looks like fans of the anthology have recent to be excited as a new report from Cinelinx reveals that they've heard from multiple sources that more Star Wars: Visions will be coming to Disney+ later this year. The popular opinion is that the new episodes will arrive sometime in September or October of this year (2022).
If that timeline is to believed, it would fill the gap that is currently sitting between Andor and The Mandalorian.
While there's currently no word on which animation studios are working on the next installment of the series, it sound slike several of the studios that particpated in the first season's reimagining of the Star Wars universe will be returning with new episodes. There's a good chance that they'll be following up on their stories from the first season.
There's a good chance that there will be further details, and maybe even some video footage, released during next month's Star Wars Celebration.

It consists of nine short anime films that highlight new characters and locations from the popular Star Wars universe. Many of the top anime studios worked on the project, including Production I.G (Attack on Titan, Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass), Trigger (Darling in the Franxx, Kill la Kill), and Science SARU (Devilman: Crybaby).
The English voice cast for the first season included the likes of Henry Golding, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lucy Liu, Temuera Morrison, Neil Patrick Harris, Alison Brie, Simu Liu, David Harbour, and Karen Fukahara.
